Proactive Foundation – Saturday 21st December 2019

Katherine Martin gave a presentation on ‘Music Therapy for Children with Perseverative Developmental Delay’ at the Proactive Foundation NGO, a centre for children with special needs.

The audience of about 100 people was made up of healthcare professionals, parents of special children and educators. We even had the principal and vice-principal of Daisy Dales senior secondary School attending having been invited by Dr Suri who is the school’s chairman as well as advisor to many colleges and universities across North India.

Dr. Lobo opened the presentation with a speech about how music therapy training came to India and the formation of our new organisation. The whole occasion was an excellent networking opportunity and we were treated like royalty!
